Iconic, the 2CV remains as charming as ever for its simplicity and versatility; this small four-seat cabriolet oozes nostalgia.
The example we have for sale was first registered on 28/ 08/ 1978.
After selling this vehicle in 2024, its current owner has renewed his trust to guide it back onto the market.
Mechanically the car starts easily, with no noise or smoke, and delivers full power.
The engine appears to be sourced from a 2CV6 and benefits from higher output.
The gearbox is pleasant to use, shifts smoothly and never grinds.
As for the running gear, the steering is pleasant and the brakes balanced, with the latter having been renewed a few years ago.
All four tyres have been recently replaced.
The paintwork was redone in 2019 and presents well, with good shine and a uniform finish. A few minor flaws are noted on the rear apron/ valance.
The underbody is sound and the chassis free of penetrating corrosion.
The chromes are in good presentation condition; overall it gleams.
The upholstery presents very well, as does the hood; the cabin is harmonious and unfailingly tasteful.
The steering wheel is in good condition and the instruments are functional.
In light of its condition and spec as a 2CV6, we are asking €12, 490.
