Rare and pretty little English sportscar.
Based on the Mini’s mechanicals, this little coupé features the peculiarity of having a rear-mid mounted engine, like the most famous GTs and sports cars!
The steel chassis is clad with a polyester bodywork.
As with many classic vehicles with a polyester body, it would deserve a repaint.
The engine is a 1275 cc Mini Cooper mounted at the rear, on its Mini subframe, thus with disc brakes.
At the front there is also a Mini subframe, without an engine.
It therefore has four disc brakes, a rigid structure, about 80 hp, for barely over 600 kg.
It’s a lively, ‘high‑performing’, rare and original vehicle, very affordable to buy and to maintain.
The MOT, carried out in early September, is OK.
