Known by the names Slantnose, Flatnose and many other appellations, this option available through Porsche Sonderwunsch (then Porsche Exclusive from 1986) was a homage to the 935 and was chosen only very rarely, as only 34 units were produced with this specification during the 1983 model year.
The specimen we are offering for sale is one of these 34 Flat Nose units and is amongst the early examples produced with fibre door panels rather than plastic as seen on later model years. Built and sold by the Exclusive Department, it was delivered at the Stuttgart factory to its first owner on 30 November 1982. Imported to Monaco in the 1990s, it benefited from a service at the Porsche Centre (Groupe Segond Monaco) in 1995 with just over 7, 000 km on the clock before joining a French collection. Presenting an excellent interior and exterior condition, the car wears its original Grand Prix White paint, paired with a beige and black interior and features a well‑specified list of options for the period, including a sunroof, air conditioning, the audio system, and the 40% limited‑slip differential. This 930 Turbo Flat Nose is matching numbers and currently shows 22, 900 km on the odometer. Finally, the car has just benefited from major mechanical works including engine sealing, the clutch + flywheel, complete ignition, alternator and air conditioning belts, a full fluids and filter service, rear shock absorbers, plus four new tyres and a geometry check.
