Description

If we are to name iconic cars, the Porsche 911 is clearly part of that elite!

Launched on the market in 1963, this sublime model will never die and certainly never fade away… A timeless silhouette, several generations, competition successes, luxury blended with sportiness, the Porsche 911 has earned widespread acclaim. We all have a reason to appreciate this model across its generations or configurations.
Of course, the Porsche 911 would evolve over the decades.

From 1968, it becomes a tad longer but clearly retains its original line, the one that started the myth. The engines will evolve in displacement as well, gradually (2. 0L, 2. 2L, 2. 4L, 2. 7L, 3. 0L and 3. 2L before moving on to the generations known as 964, 993, 996, etc…).
The 2. 7L version was marketed from 1973 to 1977. Three versions were offered: the L of 150hp, the S of 175hp and the RS of 210hp. It would gradually be replaced by the 3. 0L version from 1975. Note that in Targa form there was no RS version.

NYC's/ OXOTO offers for sale this very handsome example: Porsche 2. 7L S Targa, beige colour (Platinum Metallic), black leather interior, showing 7, 400 kms on the odometer (read as 107, 400 kms).

Delivered new in July 1976 in Paris, we unfortunately do not have full traceability of the car, however we know a great deal about its nearly 25 last years (numerous invoices, technical inspection reports and previous registration documents; Belgian and French).

Highly regarded by collectors, it features five gauges in the cockpit: clock, speedometer, tachometer, temperature and oil pressure, and finally, fuel gauge.

According to our information, it remained French for many years before becoming Belgian in 2014 where it totalled 99, 841 kms on the clock. In July 2019 (5, 049 kms on the clock) its current owner, still Belgian, purchased it. He has really cared for it and the reason for sale is simply lack of time to enjoy it.

The bodywork is in superb condition, no dents, no scratches, no corrosion (see photos on the ramp). The chrome is in excellent condition, as are the glass and the removable roof.

The interior is also in very good condition, whether the seats, the steering wheel, the dashboard, the carpets, the door trims, etc. – we note only a very fine piece of foam in the interior of the central instrument cluster that is peeling away, but that is truly the only defect to note.
Everything also works.

As for the mechanics, we have an enormous file of maintenance invoices spanning more than 20 years, including a more substantial one from 2023. A fresh service will be carried out prior to delivery.

After a run of over 100 kms to reach our showrooms, we can only confirm its excellent condition: it starts instantly, sits true, and drives superbly: power, sound, braking – absolutely nothing to fault.

The latest roadworthiness test dates from July 2025 (7, 175 kms on the clock) and notes no remarks!

We also have the authenticity certificate, the user manual, the double set of keys (original), etc.

In terms of options, it has a 5-speed box, a gauge that shows oil pressure and level, and tinted glass.

Moreover, we possess an expert appraisal, carried out in March 2024, confirming the excellent condition of this magnificent Porsche 2. 7L S Targa (report visible on our site).

Finally, we also have numerous photos of a past restoration where nothing was left undone to make a truly beautiful classic Porsche 911.

Apart from the radio, it is entirely original, as it left the factory (colours, interior, condition and engine).

A lifting ramp is available at our premises to show you the underside of the vehicle.
