Our example, first registered on 3 August 1973 with British Leyland, official French importer, testifies to the British craftsmanship of the 1970s. This MK3 version benefits from the latest evolutions of the model, with a mature presentation and remarkable comfort for its class.
Its authenticity, reinforced by the presence of many original parts, makes it a particularly interesting specimen for enthusiasts.
The example we offer is a third-hand car, having benefited from careful maintenance and numerous recent works, as evidenced by its overall condition.
Mechanically, the car starts easily and runs healthily and pleasantly. The fuel system has been upgraded with the installation of an electric fuel pump, while the tank has been redone. A K&N air filter completes the setup for better engine breathing.
The braking system has been fully revised, ensuring effective and reassuring stopping power.
The running gear is sound and the steering rack is new, guaranteeing precise steering with no play.
The hydrolastic suspension, a hallmark of the model, has been overhauled with replacement of the hydraulic high-pressure hoses.
The wheels have been repainted in epoxy, presenting a very nice finish paired with their chrome trims, and the set rides on four new tyres.
