This beautiful bike, a 1970 Honda 125 CD, has been restored and serviced in 2025.
The MOT test carried out at the end of 2025 is favourable.
It is very economical thanks to its very low consumption and easy maintenance.
It is perfectly tuned and in very good working condition.
It could suit either a collector, as this model is rare,
or a nostalgic rider wanting to do short rides with a simple bike and no electronics.
Mileage: 24, 013 with little evolution.
Here is what was done in 2025:
- The fuel tank was completely restored, inside and out: new paint, interior resin applied carefully, new tap (identical to the original), new hose (original pink Honda)
- Original carburettor fully renovated with a new repair kit and a new diaphragm kit.
- New plugs and spark wires
- Replacement of the starter solenoid relay
- All bulbs replaced.
- Oil separator cleaned and drained at 23, 930 km
- Valve clearances adjusted
- Two new tyres fitted late 2025.
- Recent battery, identical to the original.
- The right-hand switchgear is new (original part). So the electric starter works.
- New mirrors identical to original.
- Paint
Total cost of the recent repairs listed above: €1, 300
The original silencers are in good condition.
Specifications: 6 volts, 4 gears, saddle height: 75 cm (sitting on the saddle, riders of all sizes have their feet flat on the ground).
Histovec report: only 3 registered holders in 55 years. I have held the registration since 1996. We used it as a daily bike for 30 years.
Starts at the first crank. Available immediately. Ready to ride.
If the journey is too long for the buyer, for transport on the day of purchase, the necessary space dimensions for the bike are: 1. 86 m in depth and 1. 01 m in height with the handlebars folded. For example: it fits in the back of a Kangoo.
If collection is by a third-party carrier, payment must be made before the day of collection. I don’t handle the transport. But I can give the buyer the contact details of a reputable carrier specialised in motorcycle transport. They can provide a quote based on distance and the type of transport requested.
NB: this motorcycle is for sale, not for swap.
(for purists: the original red colour has been recreated by a professional from the original shade that was “hidden” under a sticker on the battery cover. It is therefore slightly lighter than the paint that had faced the sun for 55 years!)
