After a professional polish carried out with an orbital machine by our workshop, we noted a small scratch on the lower left front wing. The mohair hood in “Beige” is in good condition and shows no discolouration; we noted a few small stains. The hood is easy to operate, though the closing is slightly imperfect. The mica in the rear window PVC is in perfect condition. The chromed headlamp grilles are in excellent condition. The chromed bumpers are perfectly aligned and also in excellent condition. The chrome decorative elements are complete and in excellent condition. The four 15’’ original steel wheels are in very good condition, with no impact marks, deformation or oxidation. They are fitted with their original chrome (stainless) hubcaps, also in excellent condition. This example is equipped with four whitewall tyres from GOODYEAR showing 30% wear on both front and rear. This car retains its original spare wheel. Among the “Body/ Exterior” options and equipment of interest on this model, we note: the recent paint and the four whitewall tyres. Interior: The interior retains its original configuration and is in very good presenting condition. The red artificial leather upholstery is in excellent condition, with no wear marks, tears or discolouration. The red artificial leather door panels to match are also in excellent condition. Chassis/ Exterior: The example presented here is a January 1954 CHEVROLET Corvette C1 in its period “Polo White” colour. The paint is in like-new condition with excellent brightness and depth. It has been recently refurbished. On this occasion the body had to be dismantled to receive a complete new paint. After a professional orbital polish by our workshop, we noted a small scratch on the lower left front wing. The beige mohair hood is in good condition with no discolouration; a few small stains were noted. The hood is easy to operate; however, the closing remains slightly improvable. The rear window PVC in mica is in perfect condition. The chromed headlamp grilles are in excellent condition. The chromed bumpers are perfectly aligned and also in excellent condition. The chrome trim pieces are complete and in excellent condition. The four original 15’’ steel wheels are in very good condition, with no signs of impact, deformation or corrosion.
