Hello,
I am selling my 1955 4CV Custom with a lot of additional parts and accessories.
In a bodywork condition that is more than decent, as it was restored by the previous owner and it still spends time in its dry garage.
Perfect for a collector and vintage custom enthusiast.
Over the years I’ve already done numerous works on it, but I sadly no longer have the time to devote to it.
Here is a descriptive list of the vehicle:
4CV Custom of 1955:
- Collection registration in my name,
- Dauphine Gordini 904cc engine,
- R1063 period intake (Autobleue-type pipe, double Solex 30 PAAI carburettor),
- Chrome dry air filter,
- Red Record rocker cover,
- Ventilated Alpine A106 sandblasted plate,
- Oil filter kit,
- 4-speed gearbox type 318-10 with round crossmember with no bodywork modification (very rare parts and more robust than the 316),
- Momo sport steering wheel in mahogany wood,
- Scintex Ruby taillights,
- Front suspension from Dauphine Gordini with big brake kit featuring ventilated discs from Clio 16S and aviation hoses,
- Rear axle from R8 Gordini with disc brakes and double shock absorber kit,
- Preparation of rear star wheels super wide 175/ 180,
- Rear widened wings,
- Converted to 12V and equipped with a 12V to 6V converter for powering on-board devices,
- 12V wiper motor, electric lamps and screen wash,
- 56-dashboard modified with a toggle-style gauge, daily counter and speedometer graduated up to 160 km/ h in preparation for calibration at the end of the works,
- Electronic tachometer,
- Focal speakers and Alpine auto-radio with iPhone hands-free kit,
- Additional heavy vehicle horn on a switch,

- Robris front/ rear wing assemblies plus door deflectors,
- Rear wing air intake grilles 4C model 1950 (quite rare),
- Polished aluminium wheel butterflies with star pattern,
- and a whole rack of other parts including the old engine (likely from a Dauphine), a set of large-drum trumpets, a 1950 electric de-icer, a 904cc head gasket advance, a Sofica fan, oil bath ignition coils, rims, original rear wings, … etc.
There remain a few tasks to complete, such as installing the double shock absorber kit and mounting the handbrake linkage (supplied with the car, which I didn’t have time to fit) and the upholstery will need doing.
I sadly no longer have time to take care of it. The parts will not be sold separately and the price for the whole package is €10, 000 firm, no negotiations contemplated.
