Hello,
I’m putting up for sale my 1955 4CV Custom with a bundle of extra parts and accessories.
In overall bodywork condition more than decent, as it was redone by the previous owner and still sleeps in its dry garage.
Perfect for a collector and a vintage custom enthusiast.
I’ve already carried out, over the years, a lot of work on it, but I unfortunately no longer have time to devote to it.
Here is a descriptive list of the vehicle:
1955 4CV Custom:
- Heritage/ collection logbook (Carte Grise Collection) in my name,
- Dauphine Gordini engine 904cc,
- Vintage R1063 intake (Autobleue-type pipe, twin Solex 30 PAAI carburettor),
- Chrome dry air filter,
- Red Record tappet cover,
- Ventilated desablage plate from Alpine A106,
- Oil-filter kit,
- 4-speed gearbox type 318-10 with round crossmember, no bodywork modifications (very rare parts and more robust than the 316)
- 'Momo' sport steering wheel in mahogany wood,
- Scintex Ruby rear lights,
- Front suspension from Dauphine Gordini with big ventilated disc brake kit (Clio 16S) and aviation hoses,
- Rear suspension from R8 Gordini with disc brakes and double shock absorber kit,
- Preparation rear star wheels super-wide 175/ 180,
- Wider rear wings,
- Converted to 12V and fitted with a 12V > 6V converter for on-board equipment power.
- 12V wiper motor, electric lights and windscreen washer,
- 56-model dashboard modified with a hooded tachometer, daily counter and speedometer scaled to 160km/ h in readiness for calibration at the end of the prep,

- star-finish polished aluminium wheel caps,
plus a load of other parts including the old engine, probably from Dauphine, a set of trumpet-type big drums, an electric demister from 1950, a 904cc head gasket with advance, a Sofica fan, oil-bath ignition coils, wheels, original rear wings, ... etc
There are a few works left to do such as installing the double shock absorber kit and mounting the handbrake linkage (supplied with the car, which I haven’t had time to fit) and the upholstery will need doing. Unfortunately I no longer have the time to take care of it.
Parts will not be sold separately and the asking price for the lot is €10, 000 firm, no negotiations contemplated.
