Description
Monet Goyon
Lightweight Man Type U
First model.
From 1917, Monet Goyon mainly built bicycles for the disabled, tricycles. It was a huge demand from the many casualties of the First World War. In 1918, they brought to market their first motorcycle with a 117 cm3 head-side valve block whose intake valve is a breather valve. This bike reached 70 km/ h. A lovely old motorcycle with only distinctive features such as the engine location, curved frame tubes and a special front fork suspension, a foot brake on the handlebar.
This motorcycle is a barn find that has finally come to light after many years. The engine has good compression. A slightly newer carburettor has been fitted but the original is included.
