Motors Corner is delighted to present for sale this sublime 1955 Chevrolet Apache 3100 Pick-up.
This example has undergone a complete restoration of the highest quality carried out by a renowned coachbuilder, with the mechanical work entrusted to Vintage Garage Orléans. The bodywork has been entirely thermolacquered in three coats, and the bed repainted with liquid epoxy. Every component that makes up this pick-up has received particular attention.
Mechanical Condition:
The pick-up is powered by a V8 sourced from a Corvette C3, a fitting transplant that aligns with the restomod spirit of the build, enhancing reliability and delivering significantly improved performance. The 3-speed automatic gearbox and complete electrical harness were installed by Vintage Garage in Orléans. All mechanical and electrical installation work was entrusted to specialised professionals, guaranteeing a reliable and meticulous result.
Interior Condition:
The cabin has been completely refurbished in a two-tone colour scheme. The bench seat is upholstered in textured white vinyl in excellent condition. The door panels and dashboard are finished in white with blue inserts matching the bodywork colour.
Exterior Condition:
The pick-up has been restored in its original colour, the result of three-coat thermolacquering with zinc treatment. The bodywork is sublime. The bed is finished with three coats of liquid epoxy varnish. The vehicle sits on chrome-trimmed wheel covers shod with whitewall tyres.
The entire structural integrity is sound for many years to come.
