Originating from California, this model came fully equipped from the factory and was imported to England in 2009, then to France in 2020. It's registered as a 5-seater classic vehicle (VASP). With a complete file of invoices since 2009 and all technical inspections (English MOT and French CT) up to date, you can be assured of its maintenance history.
Externally, this T2A was repainted white a few years ago, with a brilliant finish offering a stunning presentation, though there are a few minor imperfections. It retains its vintage look with original wheels and ride height whilst guaranteeing comfortable driving. The pop-up roof operates with ease, and the hinges are recent. The canvas is in good condition and transports you back to the 1970s with its charming little fringes! For ventilation, it benefits from two large louvred side windows.
The interior of this Volkswagen T2A has been completely renovated for over £4, 000. The storage furniture, removable and sliding table, sink, gas hob, cool box, and electrical installation (with a second battery) have all been replaced. The dashboard is well preserved whilst the seats and floor mats are in excellent condition. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with the wooden roof lining and lovely checked curtains.
Mechanically, the engine, suspension, and brakes have benefited from extensive recent work. Everything runs beautifully with no foreseeable expenses.
