We are pleased to offer this superb Audi Cabriolet, a desirable late‑production example updated in 1997. It is shown in the timeless and striking Cactus Green Pearlescent (code E7/ Z6L) with a full grey leather interior, complemented by a black hood. We believe the Cactus Green was a costly colour option and therefore rarely seen. The vehicle is well equipped with all factory options relevant to the model, notably the electric hood, heated seats, full leather upholstery, pearlescent paint, fog lights, electric windows on all four doors, remote central locking, wood inserts in the cabin and a wind deflector.
Produced in July 1997 and delivered to its first German owner on 15 October that year by Audi Abra in Bassum, Germany (south of Bremen), this car remained in Germany for more than two decades, changing hands among a small number of owners. In 2020 it was acquired by a Dutch enthusiast seeking a good exemplar. Over six years and just 4, 000 km travelled, it was carefully used before being entrusted to us in March 2026 with only 123, 400 km from new. The decision to part with it was a difficult one for the previous owner, who is relocating abroad and could not take the car with them.
The Audi benefits from a fully documented maintenance history from day one, including all paperwork (really, everything): purchase invoices, service books, MOT (technical inspection) reports, parts, etc. Recent maintenance includes a fresh service less than 1, 000 km ago (June 2025), as well as significant work on key components over the years: suspension, exhaust (€1, 061. 50) and a hood replacement in 2023 (€2, 500). The previous owner also installed a modern Pioneer audio system with Bluetooth, DAB antenna, upgraded speakers and a subwoofer, all discreetly integrated behind the original trim. An appearance‑stock stereo but fully modernised, perfect for long trips, for example. The original radio and subwoofer are supplied with the car. As part of preparation for sale, a new set of Vredestein Ultrac tyres has been mounted on the car’s original 16‑inch alloy wheels.
The car presents in exceptional condition and remains largely original, unmodified. The paint is largely original with a deep, even pearlescent finish. The bodywork is accident‑free, with panel gaps and factory‑aligned panels. The original wheels are in excellent condition, and the interior shows only light wear appropriate for its age. All electrical functions work perfectly, and the hood mechanism is in excellent, near‑new condition. The Audi drives superbly and feels very solid, with no rattles or creaks. It will be very hard to find a better Audi Cabriolet than this.
The car is complete with its original tools, spare wheel, books, keys and a very comprehensive history file. It is currently registered in the Netherlands (H-500-ZJ), will be delivered with a valid APK (MOT), and can be supplied with the necessary export documents for easy international registration.
