Description
When the Porsche Cayenne was launched on the market, it marked a genuine turning point for the brand. Not only commercially, but also technically. Porsche demonstrated that an SUV could offer the same precision, the same performance and the same build quality as its sports cars. With a new price of around €115, 000 before options, this model was positioned as the absolute flagship of the range. And you can still feel it today.
What really distinguishes this example is its configuration. This is not a standard Cayenne Turbo, but a vehicle factory-configured in a particularly thoughtful and exclusive way. Delivered new by the Porsche Centre Sendai, this vehicle was configured in GTS Red, a shade classified by Porsche in the Special Exterior Colours category. This colour was not freely available on the Cayenne Turbo and could only be ordered via a specific request to the factory. In practice, GTS Red was almost exclusively reserved for the Cayenne GTS and remains extremely rare on a Turbo, especially in a specification with an interior of this level. The cockpit is entirely finished in Chestnut Brown, with the seats, dashboard and carpets in the same shade. A typical configuration of a customer who knows exactly what they want. Both bodywork and interior testify to the care lavished on this vehicle. About 95% of the paint is still original and the interior is in near-new condition. That speaks volumes about the use and upkeep of this car. In terms of equipment, this Cayenne Turbo is particularly well equipped. It features air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, essential for ride comfort. It is also fitted with an all-leather interior, an Alcantara headlining, comfortable memory seats, heated front and rear seats, the BOSE Surround Sound system, front and rear parking assistance, cruise control, Cayenne Design 19-inch wheels, a matte aluminium exterior pack and a power-operated tailgate. The vehicle shows a verified mileage of 98, 911 km and is in remarkable condition.
It is precisely this type of Cayenne Turbo that makes the difference today. Not a standard version, but a vehicle configured differently from the outset. The combination of a rare factory configuration in GTS Red, an all-Chestnut Brown interior and exceptional preservation makes it a specimen that is rarely seen on the market.
