Description
1965 Porsche 356 C Cabriolet.
This stunning red cabriolet (currently) with a black leather interior was built in 1965 and originates from the United States. Originally, this 356 Cabriolet left the factory in the sought-after Irish Green (6406B) with a black leather interior. The green colour is still visible in places. The car runs, brakes and shifts perfectly. It is equipped with original four‑wheel disc brakes, which were found only on the 356C, the latest and most advanced variant of the 356. The first 911 was launched in the same year (1965).
The car shows 4, 487 miles on the odometer. It is equipped with a new fuel tank and a more powerful 4‑cylinder 912 616/ 36 engine, developing 90 bhp. It starts promptly and runs and shifts without issue, but a full service would be beneficial and is recommended before hitting the road.
The car can also be supplied with a period‑correct engine, matching the character of the 356 it was equipped with at delivery in 1965. It currently has American registration and European import documents. VAT paid.

Thanks to our extensive international network of clients and partners, we can assist you with a bespoke search.
Whether you are seeking an exceptional model such as a Ferrari F40, F50, a Porsche 959, or any other rare vehicle, we put our expertise at your service.
We also offer historic vehicles, including World War II models.
Are you looking for a classic car, a contemporary vehicle, a motorcycle or a boat? We are at your disposal. We also have a network specialising in vintage aircraft and helicopters.
Regarding the vehicles we have for sale, we offer worldwide transport solutions.
A vehicle with European registration can be registered more easily in France. Conversely, a vehicle from the United States will need to undergo a technical inspection beforehand.
Any necessary repairs will then be carried out. As it is impossible to determine all faults in advance without a full inspection, we apply hourly-rate charges, plus parts, as practiced in most professional garages.
We can of course provide a preliminary estimate based solely on visible elements. Non-visible items cannot be reliably estimated.
We can also, on request, register your vehicle in France, Germany or the Netherlands. We also offer detailed videos and live video calls to present the vehicle to you with complete transparency.
Currently, we are actively seeking the following models:
* Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans in blue
* Porsche 912 Softwindow Targa in black (originally black, not repainted)
* Ferrari F50 in yellow
Finally, if a vehicle has a Dutch registration, a valid technical inspection and is in good technical condition, you have the option to drive away with an export plate.
