Description
A gentleman's Porsche — restored to perfection, with its soul intact.
This 1970 Porsche 911T Coupé left the Stuttgart factory in a colour that would become legendary: Irischgrün, paired with a refined black leather interior. Delivered new to San Antonio, Texas, and fitted with period options such as rubber bumpers and Koni shock absorbers, it represented the elegant Touring version of Porsche's now-iconic F-series. But don't be fooled by the 'T' for Touring: its air-cooled 2. 2‑litre flat-six offers the mechanical charisma that has made Porsche a benchmark on both road and track. What makes this example so special? Matching serial numbers and colours, as well as a Porsche-worthy restoration. Between 2019 and 2022, this 911T benefited from a complete restoration, with no compromise on quality. The bodywork was stripped and repainted in its original colour, Irischgrün. The engine and gearbox were meticulously rebuilt. The suspension, electrical system and brakes received the same expert attention. And the interior, now reupholstered in supple black leather, remains faithful to its factory specifications. Total restoration cost? Over €44, 000, all fully documented. The result is a car that offers two equally captivating pleasures: driving it as the engineers imagined — light, agile and mechanically impeccABLE — or simply sitting beside it in its garage with a glass of Burgundy and admiring its sculpted lines. It’s the sort of car you’d sell to a friend or buy for yourself. A gentleman's sports car, restored with care and ready to write a new chapter in its history.
