For sale with regret due to a property development project: VW Kombi T2b 1973.
This Westfalia camper is of Italian origin with a few unique Italian touches. It was restored in Italy about twenty years ago and imported by its enthusiastic owner to Spain, where it was used for surfing. I bought it in 2020 because it had issues with Madrid’s very strict regulations.
Since then I’ve carried out work, with invoices exceeding €9, 000, including replacing the tent canvas with a new one identical to the original. Standard gearbox overhaul, replacement of several engine and suspension components and rust treatment in the brake bay, tailgate, door and wheel arches. Upholstery work carried out by pros known in the world of the Combi, east of Toulouse.
The 1600 engine runs perfectly; everything works, the mechanicals are in good condition.
There is an original stationary heater, but I’ve never tested it.
All Westfalia furniture is in good condition. There is a fridge, sink and two gas burners, all in good condition.
