Magnificent 1303 Cabriolet Beetle, “body-off” restoration – Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Type 1303
Offered for sale on behalf of a client: a Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet Type 1303 that has undergone a complete “body-off” restoration. This superb classic has been fully resprayed, including the wheel arches, with no use of Tectyl. The chassis has been powder-coated and gleams like it’s just come out of the factory.
The vehicle is fitted with new front and rear brakes, new tyres, and Lemmerz “GT” wheels (the original wheels are also included). The PVC hood has been completely rebuilt: new lining, insulation, outer headlining, tension cables, and a new stainless-steel rear window frame. All rubber seals have been replaced and the hood frame has been sandblasted and powder-coated.
The interior has been completely refurbished with new carpets and a full retrim. The 1600cc engine produces 50 bhp. All the chrome trim pieces around the windows are new and Volkswagen original. The car comes with its birth certificate issued by Volkswagen.
This Cabriolet Beetle is in impeccable condition. A fantastic purchase for any classic car enthusiast.
