Description
Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 4. 2-litre engine from 1973. Imported from Italy, Milan region. No rust, never restored on the bodywork apart from the original Greensand colour paint (Sand Green). Very rare. Jaguar Heritage certificate available. The bumpers have been replaced with NOS (New Old Stock). The headlining redone by an Italian upholsterer. The front seats, rear bench, dashboard top, gear tunnel and rear shelf have also been redone with the finest Cinnamon-coloured leather in its original dye by, again, an Italian craftsman.
Runs very well and is pleasant to drive. Recently undergone a major service including hydraulic braking, handbrake, silent blocks, ball joints, etc. Michelin tyres. AED removed, manual starter. Four electric windows functional. Air conditioning not functional, air conditioning compressor pulley bearing seized.
Underbody very solid and clean, no blaxon or filler; you can see how the car left the factory 53 years ago, in 1973. Vehicle viewable on a hydraulic lift.
French Heritage Certificate (Carte Grise Collection). The roadworthiness certificate will be renewed before final sale.
