Condition and history
Acquired 25 years ago from a garage in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, in the Île-de-France region, this car was imported from the United States before being carefully maintained and restored.
Mechanical
The current engine is indeed from a Mercedes 220, but it does not match the chassis number (non-matching number). However, an original engine can be supplied to the buyer if desired. A complete engine rebuild has been carried out, including:
- Straightening of the cylinder head,
- Cylinder honing,
- Piston straightening.
Interior and fittings
The cabin retains its original interior, except for the floor carpets and the lower door trims, which have been replaced. The rear-view mirror is also present, adding a classic and functional touch to this period Cabriolet.
