A genuine 1980s icon, this E30 stands out not only for its timeless styling but also for its exceptional mechanics.
Few true four-seat convertibles exist, and in that regard the E30 excels! Fitted with the marque’s inline-six that develops 171 hp in a metallic, refined note, it’s the ideal cabriolet for family getaways or trips with friends.
The example we are offering was registered in 1986, originally from Norway and was imported to the Netherlands in 1993.
Rare: we have the service book and a substantial file of maintenance invoices.
Mechanically the car starts easily, with no noise or smoke, and retains full power. The timing belt, water pump and pulleys were replaced in 2025.
The five-speed gearbox is smooth, shifts well and does not catch. The clutch mechanism was revised and the driveshaft flex disc replaced in 2025 as well as the oil seals in 2019.
Regarding the running gear, the steering is pleasant, the track control arms (triangles) were replaced in 2026 and a brake refresh was carried out in 2025.
The original wheels are shod with recent tyres in good condition.
The paint presents well, it has shine and is uniform.
The underbody is solid and the chassis is corrosion-free.
The upholstery is in very good condition with a slight patina that gives it definite charm.
The hood is in good condition and is watertight.
The steering wheel is in excellent condition and the instrumentation is functional.
