Description
Rare restoration project for the MGA Twin Cam Coupe from Wisconsin, United States.
The car carries the original Twin Cam chassis number YM1/ 2054. According to the Heritage Certificate, it was originally delivered as a British RHD Twin Cam coupé, originally in Mineral Blue with a black interior.
The original Twin Cam technology is no longer present. The car was subsequently converted to standard MGA specifications with a BMC Gold Seal 1600 Series B engine, drum brakes and wire wheels. The engine is hand-crankable. Complete bodywork restoration project.
The chassis and body are readily restorable, but welds are required, among other things, on the sills, doglegs, lower screen sections, boot floor and the bonnet frame.
Incomplete: the windscreen, rear screen, seats, bumpers, headlights and wooden floor boards are missing.
Comes with a Wisconsin MV2459 abandoned vehicle bill of sale, a Dutch customs document and a heritage certificate. No US title available.
Viewings by appointment at Dandy Classics in Sint Anthonis, Netherlands.
