The MGA, unveiled in 1955, allowed the marque to shift into a new "era" in terms of design and appeal to a younger clientele seeking sports-minded roadsters.
It was the car of renewal: "First of a new life" was the slogan of the time.
Our example was reimported from Texas some fifteen years ago and completely restored in its Old English White finish. It displays 53, 174 miles on the odometer, is equipped with black leather trim adorned with white piping and a tasteful matt wood dashboard.
The modern, curvaceous bodywork of this MGA is owed to designer Syd Enever. Its 1950s aesthetic clearly marks its belonging to a bygone era of motoring and exudes incredible charm.
