I am selling a very beautiful Yamaha DT 250 from January 1973, USA model, odometer in miles (2131 miles).
Cosmetic restoration carried out by the previous owner (dismantling of the frame / mudguard / tank repainted in original colours with stripes done in paint).
The top end was dismantled for cylinder inspection and matches the displayed mileage. This example is completely original and bears serial number 153705, frame and engine, in line with Yamaha’s usage.

For its 1973 model year, Yamaha presents a new generation DT 250.
Even more oriented towards off-road:
- front wheel 21" (instead of 19" originally)
- ground clearance increased by one inch
With the large front wheel, off-road handling is improved.
Without compromising on road manners on tarmac.
