Description
Magnificent Jaguar MK2 3. 8L from 1961 is almost finished! It has benefited from a complete restoration carried out to the highest standards, with no compromises. The vehicle was completely dismantled down to the bare shell.
The bodywork was fully stripped, then laser-treated before a full rebuild. All components have been restored or replaced with new parts, with exceptional attention to detail, right down to the fasteners which are all bichromated.
The engine has been completely rebuilt, cylinder head resurfaced, engine block degreased/ deglazed, electronic ignition, high-torque starter reconditioned, radiator, the running gear, hoses, the fuel tank, etc., all new! Interior includes carpet, upholstery, veneers, etc., all-new!
Dunlop wheels, Michelin tyres!
The car also receives the Barratt upgrade kit including:
Reinforced springs, front and rear anti-roll bars, delivering noticeably improved road handling while preserving the car’s spirit.
