Description
I am 20 km from Forbach.
Here is a one-of-a-kind car, registered in France in 1972. It was built by Henry Meyer.
Originally designed for hill climbs, it features a single-seater configuration, a removable steering wheel, butterfly doors and centre-lock wheels.
It is powered by a Porsche 911 S engine (a 2. 0 MFI with mechanical fuel injection from 1969, developing 160 bhp). The accompanying gearbox also comes from a 911.
Many other Porsche parts were undoubtedly used in its construction.
Many photos and documents tracing the last 50 years, during which the car was part of a private collection in the south of France, are available.
Its bodywork pays homage to the Porsche 917, then very popular.
