Description
I am reluctantly putting my MIDGET up for sale. I have another project and there isn’t space to keep it. I have owned it for 5 years and every outing is a pleasure.
The MG Midget is undoubtedly a classic roadster, very pleasant and seductive. This very compact two-seater is a delight for the eyes, but thanks to its short wheelbase, it’s a very fun and agile car to drive. And like all MGs, this Midget is also very easy and enjoyable to handle. This is especially true for this 1973 model equipped with its delicious and powerful 1300 engine.
The interior is in remarkable condition. The faux-leather seats are immaculate, comfortable and offer excellent support.
The hood is like new; indeed, when purchased five years ago from a professional, it had been replaced and since then I have never used it. And yes, the pleasure of a convertible is to drive with the wind in your hair.
Since its acquisition it has slept only in a garage.
It is evident that this car has been cared for with a lot of care and attention. Under the bonnet sits an engine in excellent condition and the car drives wonderfully. The 1, 300 cm³ four-cylinder engine offers enough power for a sporty and enjoyable driving experience. The steering is precise and, thanks to its short wheelbase, this Midget is very agile.
A nice sporty rumble escapes from the exhaust, so the radio is superfluous, though present.
It is equipped with two horns/ trumpets.
What more can be said, to see it is to fall under the charm of this little English car, to try it is to adopt it.
