Description
Here’s one of the finest Arc de Triomphe Minis that’s passed through our hands in nearly 20 years.
In 1994, an owner walks into the Arc de Triomphe dealership in Paris and leaves with this superb brand-new Cooper SPI Cabriolet. The same owner then cherishes it for thirty years—caring for it, looking after it, and tracking it with a level of rigour that few collectors ever reach. And the first 850 kilometres? Muriel Robin did them! Here’s a small detail that says a lot about the world this car grew up in.
The history is completely free of chance. Serviced at Rover until the dealerships closed in 2001, then entrusted to specialist workshops, before eventually coming into our hands these past few years.
We have every service record and every intervention, all meticulously documented from day one, as well as the original 1994 purchase order.
The interior lives up to the story: the entire dashboard is trimmed in burr walnut, black leather upholstery with red stitching, and a three-spoke wooden steering wheel with a matching knob.
Outside, the black hood, the chromed extensions and the Minilite wheels come together to create a silhouette with absolute coherence.
Arc de Triomphe Mini Cabriolets like this—preserved in this condition—have become almost impossible to find.
Second owner, complete file including the purchase order, presented in this impeccable way. It’s one of the very best that’s passed through our hands since MMR started.
