With barely more than 5, 700 examples produced, the Z8 will undoubtedly remain the most memorable halo car concept.
Produced under the direction of Chris Bangle, BMW's chief designer at the time, the design is signed by Henrik Fisker. The neo-retro styling harks back to the famous 1955 BMW 507 V8.
Engine-wise, the Z8 uses the M5 E39 V8 tuned to Motorsport specifications.
Over 20 years on, this roadster is now a genuine collector's piece! Beyond the fact that 007 chose it for his missions, the Z8 is unique, rare, exclusive and devilishly formidable with its 400 bhp.
This example was delivered new to the BMW dealership in Puget sur Argent in the south-east in December 2001. Kept for just one year by its first owner, it was then delivered as a second-hand vehicle by the same dealership in 2002 to its current owner (order confirmation on file).
We have the complete service history carried out exclusively at BMW over 23 years as well as the service book.
The hard-top is in excellent condition and comes with its stand and protective cover.
The owner has taken care to preserve all the accessories originally supplied with the car, including the soft-top cover and wind deflector with storage cases, the BMW car cover and the owner's manual with its serial number.
The bodywork is in very fine condition in its Titanium silver finish. The contrast with the red sport nappa interior is highly appealing. The upholstery is in good condition and all instrumentation is functional: air conditioning, heated seats, electric windows and more. The "Sport" mode, which is what really matters, works perfectly too. Let's not forget to mention for enthusiasts the presence of the famous period Motorola telephone.
On the mechanical side, servicing has always been carried out at this same south-east dealership.
