FOR SALE: TOYOTA MR2 SW20 2. 0 GTI 175hp.
I bought this car in 2020 from a retired couple who had it brand new, France-origin, so I’m the second owner.
I’m selling it because we already have two other cars cut for the same use; unfortunately, I can’t keep them all...
It’s been very well looked after—the condition of the engine bay is proof of that—but I don’t have any invoices.
I carried out a big service when I bought it because the previous owners hadn’t been able to keep driving due to health issues.
Rebuilt brake calipers with aviation-flex hoses, complete brake fluid, power steering fluid, the timing belt/ distribution, the clutch was done a while back, two rear tyres, lambda sensor, spark plugs, coil/ ignition head and HT leads, etc...
As far as I know, it’s never been in an accident, no corrosion, and I treated the box sections with wax.
It did have a few stone-chip impact marks, which is why I had the lower part resprayed in grey; the yellow is original, never resprayed.
I service it using 10W60 oil, and I’ve just done the service ahead of the sale, as well as the timing belt work (it had 10, 000 km) and the two front tyres.
I’ve just ordered the CAT, which will therefore be brand new, as it had a bit of trouble passing the emissions test.
I’m having it prepared so the next owner has zero work to do—just the pleasure of driving...
The MOT is nearly spotless.
In terms of equipment: power steering, electric windows, ABS, air conditioning (works), spare keys/ remote double, and original wheels are available.
I’m not going to claim it’s “show condition”—that would be a lie—but it’s genuinely really clean.
Also, I can’t promise it’ll hold value, but it won’t lose any either—it ticks all the boxes...
