Description
The 1995 model year is widely regarded as one of the best of the C4 generation. After eleven years of development (1984–1995), Chevrolet gradually ironed out the shortcomings of the early cars to arrive at a highly sorted Corvette—reliable and a pleasure to drive.
Corvette specialists agree that 13 1995 Dark Purple Metallic Corvette Cabriolets were produced, all fitted with the ZF manual gearbox. The build tag confirms that our C4 really does belong to this very limited run.
It’s equipped with the FE1 Touring suspension, not the firmer Z5 setup. Intended for road use, it strikes an excellent balance between ride comfort and road-holding, perfectly in keeping with the Corvette’s Grand Touring spirit. With just 1, 523 kg unladen, the C4 Cabriolet pairs the punch of its 300 bhp LT1 V8 with a restrained weight and a Transaxle layout that delivers near-ideal weight distribution.
Low mileage and regular servicing make this a well-preserved Corvette that will satisfy even the most demanding enthusiasts—both aesthetically and behind the wheel.
