Description
Hello,
I'm selling a 1973 CB350 twin that I've completely restored myself.
This Honda was part of a job lot I'd purchased. It had been stored outside for years. After restoring the other bike from the lot, a CB450, I restored this CB350 twin.
The costs incurred in this restoration explain the price:
• Fuel tank replacement – the original was too corroded
• New seat + new seat cover
• New rear shock absorbers
• Fresh paint on all bodywork panels in Gold colour
• Epoxy paint on the frame
• All cycle parts, rubbers, cables, and accessories are new or restored
• The speedometer/ rev counter has been professionally rebuilt from scratch
• New exhaust system
• Carburettors completely rebuilt (new gaskets, jets, floats, butterflies)
• All chrome work professionally redone – gives a really deep, quality finish
• All swing arm, steering column, and wheel bearings are new
• Starter motor completely rebuilt
• Engine completely rebuilt – new pistons, rings, connecting rods, timing chain, cylinder rebore, spark plugs, suppressors, coils
• Polished stainless steel rims, stainless steel spokes, new tyres
• 4 new original Honda indicators – proper metal ones, not plastic!
• New headlight + switches
• New battery
It's passed its MOT with no defects.
It fires up instantly. I've fitted an original Honda flat handlebar that was fitted to another model from the marque – I think it looks better. It's the only non-original element. It comes with its complete tool kit, of course.
That's why the price is above the usual asking prices you'll see.
