Description
When Aston Martin unveiled the DB7 at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show, David Brown's initials had not graced a grille for twenty-three years. Penned by Ian Callum and developed by TWR under Ford's stewardship, it reconciles British elegance with finally serious manufacturing standards. In 1999, the Jaguar six-cylinder gave way to the Cosworth V12 producing 420 horsepower.
Our example wears British Racing Green livery, with matching soft top. The interior combines tan leather seats and door panels with green dashboard and carpeting, complemented by walnut burr on the console, gear knob and trim strips.
Delivered to France in March 2001, it now shows 56, 636 km on the odometer and comes with its service history, largely stamped by Aston Martin Bordeaux. In July 2020, at 53, 034 km, it received a full service: engine and differential oils, coolant, brake fluid, oil and air filters, auxiliary belt and tensioner, replacement of front damper top mounts, air-conditioning recharge. In September 2022, lambda sensor diagnostics with no fault codes stored and two new Pirelli P Zero tyres fitted in 265/ 35 R18.
This example presents in excellent condition throughout, both bodywork and interior, and the V12 runs perfectly. The electric soft top and its mechanism operate without hesitation.
A service and full polish will be carried out prior to sale.
