Description
For enthusiasts and connoisseurs:
BMW R100GS from 1987 in white (rarer than the Bumblebee)
83, 000 km not guaranteed
COLLECTION registration document
Slightly less prestigious than its predecessors the R80G/ S and R80GS, it represents a genuine improvement whilst preserving the overall spirit: STILL the 21" front wheel, enduro mudguard, lightweight design – NEW the cross-spoked rims and Paralever, references that remain current today, plus increased torque and power which are most welcome.
Magnificent condition, perfect working order
Completely overhauled recently, it's technically spot on:
• Engine tuning, valve and carburettor settings
• Steering bearings

• Iridium spark plugs
• Quick-release fuel hose connectors for easy tank removal

As for aesthetics, a few images… many more available on request.
You'll have gathered that this bike is top-notch for anyone wanting to ride authentic vintage: a real treat! Travel simply
Other advantages: reduced insurance, speed suited to limits, very reasonable fuel consumption (6 l/ 100km)
It had to have one small flaw: the right fuel tap leak caused a bit of paint blistering… I didn't have it resprayed but I've eradicated it, done a touch-up job and the varnish has yellowed a bit… not great but no corrosion and you'd have to look closely to notice it…
