Selling 1974 Montesa Cota 247 - Serial number 21M11265
Bike I was planning to restore but never got round to, it's been sat in my garage for over 10 years now, time for me to let it move on and free up some space :)
Bike is nearly complete bar a few bits (engine is complete) and needs restoration
Completely original, bike doesn't run but it did fire up when I first got it with fresh fuel and a few kicks on the pedal.
Most of the cables (brake, throttle, etc.) are present but not connected end-to-end.
One crankcase is open, but the part is in good condition and comes with the bike.
The bike has always been stored indoors and kept dry.
No registration document, I never had one, not sure if the bike was ever registered.
Serial number clearly visible on the steering column: 21M11265.
I'll include the original workshop manual (Revue Moto Technique)
Bike aimed at classic trial enthusiasts, Montesa, Bultaco, Ossa, etc.
