We are offering for sale this fine example of a first-generation Twingo.
It is a genuine French single-owner car, still retaining its 1994 registration document and original yellow and white number plates.
The specification is one of the most sought-after, with its Deep Sea Blue finish, 'Soho' fabric interior and coriander green controls: the 1990s atmosphere is completely intact, especially as the interior is in truly excellent condition!
The service history and maintenance file is remarkable, with the sole owner having carefully preserved everything.
It begins with the purchase invoice and order form for the vehicle from the Renault dealership in Belleville-sur-Saône, dated May 1994.
This example was subsequently serviced at the same dealership until 2015. We have all the invoices documenting the maintenance, carried out every 2 years since 1995!
Afterwards, the car was serviced at a Peugeot dealership from 2016 to the present day, always with the same meticulous care. In addition to regular oil changes, several mechanical components have been replaced in recent years:
Clutch replacement in 2019 at 51, 900 km
Gearbox oil change in 2022
Rear brake and all four tyre replacement in 2025
Front shock absorber replacement in 2026
The MOT has just been passed successfully.
Regarding aesthetics, whilst the interior is in excellent condition, the bodywork shows signs of wear, being entirely original (no resprayed panels). We will provide interested parties with details of these imperfections.
The vehicle shows no corrosion. Photographs of the chassis are available.
It will be sold with its original owner's manual and a spare set of keys.
With its iconic design, the Twingo 1 is gradually entering the classic car market. Well-built and reliable, it remains perfectly usable today.
