Our Mercedes 230 SL W113 Pagoda, first registered on 12 September 1964, has covered 128, 000 km to date. Originally French, it is currently registered in France and has had three owners since first registration.
This example is presented in an elegant Graphitgrau – Graphite Grey (DB 190) finish, paired with a red leather interior. The bodywork displays a very fine paint job, carried out some twenty years ago, though with a few minor imperfections. The cabin is well preserved, with the leather in good condition. Only the driver's seat has been reupholstered, with the rest of the trim retaining its original patina. The dashboard instruments function correctly.
Beneath the bonnet, the 2. 3-litre straight-six engine develops 150 bhp and is paired with a manual gearbox. This 230 SL, the first iteration of the legendary W113 generation, offers smooth and pleasant driving whilst retaining the characteristics that made the famous Pagoda such a success.
This example has been maintained by an independent specialist. It comes with service records from 2010 to the present day as well as period technical documentation.
