Engine subsequently rebuilt from scratch with Malossi V One crankcases, Malossi 210 Sport Mk2 cylinder-head kit, reinforced BGM clutch, extended primary transmission (24/ 65), Mazzucchelli crankshaft, new Piaggio ignition, completely reconditioned Si24 carburettor....
Countless other parts are new (tyres, cables, shock absorbers, bushes, battery, etc....), several thousand euros worth of invoices for new parts.
The engine was completely stripped down and rebuilt with all these new parts last summer by an engineer expert in mechanics with a deliberately conservative squish in the touring/ reliability spirit.
Runs perfectly with no leaks whatsoever.
The aesthetics have deliberately been preserved in original condition.
