Description
VOLKSWAGEN COMBI T2 BRAZILIAN "BAY WINDOW" 8-SEATER CAMPER
A symbol of freedom and the spirit of travel, this Brazilian-origin Volkswagen Combi T2 immediately captivates with its striking red and white two-tone presentation, faithful to the iconic image of the legendary "Combi" that has transcended generations without ever losing its charm.
Homologated for 8 seats, this example benefits from a particularly versatile conversion allowing you to enjoy outings with family or friends as much as embarking on weekend trips or spontaneous getaways. It notably features a solar panel, auxiliary battery, sink, gas cooker, removable table and two sleeping berths, offering everything needed to travel simply and comfortably.
Over recent years, approximately €15, 000 has been invested in its mechanical restoration. Work carried out includes the alternator, engine mounts, hoses, clutch, fuel system, ignition, tyres, running gear, exhaust, installation of 40 mm carburettors, numerous seals and extensive electrical system overhaul. The chassis has also benefited from preventative treatment. In practice, virtually all mechanical and ancillary components have been overhauled to ensure trouble-free use.
Today, this Combi presents in a highly appealing overall condition and retains all the authenticity that gives classic vehicles their charm. A complete respray would allow its future owner to bring it to an even higher presentation standard, but it already turns heads wherever it goes and exudes genuine character in its current configuration.
Benefiting from a classic vehicle registration document, this Volkswagen represents a rare opportunity to acquire an iconic vehicle, ready to hit the road for new adventures, whilst enjoying the benefit of substantial work already completed.
