Description
Unveiled in 2004, the sixth generation Porsche 911 aimed to be closer in style to the original 911s, bringing back round headlights at the front, a significant departure from the previous generation, the 996.
In 2008, phase 2 was introduced with refinements and upgrades (engine and gearbox for example).
The Porsche 997 enjoyed enormous commercial success, notably explained by its styling but also because it was the generation that saw the most variants (over 20): S, 4S, GT3 (RS), GT2 (RS), Turbo (S), Targa (4S), GTS, etc…
The Porsche 997 was replaced in 2012 by the Porsche 991.
NYC's/ OXOTO is offering here a very fine example of a Porsche 997 Turbo, in grey, black soft top, red leather interior, currently totalling less than 186, 000 kms.
First registered as new in Belgium by the Porsche dealership in Drogenbos (Brussels) in February 2008, it was initially used by the importer to showcase the brand's expertise.
As a result, it comes with all the options from the catalogue (except 3 minor trim options) and even better, this was the 997 Turbo cabriolet that was displayed at the motor show in January 2008!
It was in March 2010 that the dealership sold it to its first private owner, a Belgian doctor. He kept it until 2014, when its current owner purchased it. The latter, although Belgian, was able to register it in Luxembourg. One could say he has really looked after this 997 Turbo cabriolet whilst enjoying it tremendously.
The bodywork presents really very well: no dents or scratches. It's worth noting that it has been completely repainted, absolutely not due to damage, but due to a cleaner who washed the car with an unsuitable product…
The soft top is also in pristine condition (replaced in 2016).
The interior also presents very well, whether it's the seats, dashboard, buttons, steering wheel, door panels, centre console, it's really very smart and very clean.
On the mechanical side, we have excellent service history: handbook and substantial file of invoices (see our website) from both Porsche dealerships and specialists. The file is really comprehensive.
After a test drive of over 100 kms, we can confirm it drives really very well, nothing to fault.
It is also complete, with all the user manuals, the handbook with stamps, spare keys, etc… and it has its COC for potential export.
Moreover, it has a wind deflector, very pleasant when driving with the top down.
Regarding options, it therefore has GPS, automatic gearbox, air conditioning, Bose hi-fi system, electric and heated seats, extended leather, Porsche logo on the seats, carbon trim, …
We also have two sets of original wheels (one for summer tyres, the other for winter tyres), as well as the 4 original headlights, front indicators, a front bumper blade, and the original rear engine cover.
Available by appointment at our establishment in Belgium.
