Description
Volvo 1800 ES, 1972.
Dark green exterior, black leather interior and black carpet.
This magnificent Volvo 1800 ES was originally sold new in the United States.
The Volvo 1800 ES is one of the first luxury estate cars; the Reliant Scimitar is another classic example. Imported from the United States to the Netherlands in 2006, it subsequently underwent a complete restoration.
The dashboard and original leather upholstery have been refurbished.
Since 2006, this highly sought-after Volvo 1800 ES has had only two owners.
It is fitted with the famous Volvo B20 four-cylinder fuel-injected engine. Recently, a stainless steel exhaust system and a 123 electronic ignition system were fitted. The engine runs perfectly and the overdrive gearbox offers excellent gear changes. The Volvo 1800 ES is an elegantly designed car, with refined details such as its long side windows, glazed tailgate and chrome trim that extends to the door handles.
The Volvo 1800 ES is a relatively rare classic model; only 8, 078 were produced between 1971 and 1973.
This Volvo 1800 ES offers an exceptional driving experience. A magnificent icon from the 1970s for enthusiasts!
