Offering for sale this superb 1996 Morgan 4/ 4, in a most elegant midnight blue configuration with burgundy leather interior.
A particularly charming Morgan, in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically, but above all accompanied by an exceptionally comprehensive history since its construction.
The car comes with its original leather Morgan book, documenting its construction with photographs taken at the factory, right down to the workers who participated in its manufacture.
Its history is documented from day one: maintenance and service invoices, documents and records of its journeys throughout Europe.
It is equipped with the very pleasant Ford Zetec 2. 0-litre Silver Top fuel-injected engine, 16 valves.
The mechanics, completely rebuilt, work perfectly: starts first time, smooth and pleasant engine, no smoke, no suspicious noises, no leaks or seepage.
The gearbox is also very pleasant to use, with gears that change perfectly. Having myself covered many miles behind its wheel, I can confirm that it is particularly enjoyable and reassuring to drive.
The midnight blue paintwork is in excellent condition, as are the chrome fittings, with no corrosion.
The burgundy leather interior has been remarkably preserved: no cracking or notable deterioration. The dashboard and instrumentation are fully functional: buttons, lighting, gauges and controls all work as they should.
It is also equipped with a very attractive Moto-Lita wood and aluminium steering wheel.
The hood is in excellent condition, as are the side-screens. The transparent sections of the hood are particularly well preserved.
It also features the small Morgan rear rack as well as five wire wheels, with their Morgan-badged central locking hubs.
The car has just passed its MOT: nothing to report.
It shows no corrosion and has always benefited from particularly careful maintenance, as evidenced by the substantial file of invoices that accompanies it.
This is therefore a Morgan 4/ 4 ready to take to the road, equally suited for a Sunday outing or for travelling, as it has already done!
