Private seller offering this magnificent 1999 Ducati 748 RS for sale. This is a genuine race motorcycle sold by Ducati's race department to around thirty examples for the 1999/ 2000 season. This machine, known as a customer race bike, was intended for privateer teams and conforms in every respect to the regulations of the World Superstock Championship and the French Superstock Championship for the 1999/ 2000 season. Please note: this is not a road-going Ducati 748 R that has been converted or modified for racing, but a true race motorcycle sold by the Ducati factory. This bike is eligible for many classic competition vehicle events across Europe. This Ducati 748 RS has been fully restored. It is in perfect condition and ready to hit the track. The engine and gearbox have been completely rebuilt with new parts, using only components sourced from Ducati's race department: New crankcases. New bearings.
