Description
Project for the connoisseur:
Citroën 2CV AZA, dated 13/ 12/ 1968 - 6V - needs a full restoration - 95% complete
I am selling this project as I am short of space.
Engine: 425 cc - code AZM (6-blade fan), not seized (compressions OK, turns over on the crank), needs to be recommissioned, last used in 2003.
The chassis is in good condition (and has been replaced at some point in the past). Only the top of the floor (inside the cabin) is rusted near the pedals.
Gear changes are difficult.
Bodyshell worn but not twisted (all 6 opening windows work correctly):
To be replaced: boot floor, rear panel, 3 floor pans, 2 rear quarter panels, 2 sills, windscreen surround.
The bodyshell dates from 1981. Colour 'Azurite blue', with the colour code plate present.
The front bordeaux seats are not original but are incredibly comfortable.
Rear bench in black, in good order.
Soft top with interior opening in 'tuilerie green' plus frame: 100% brand new.
Parts included: jack, crank handle, wooden wheel chock, a second boot, spare wheel, front and rear floor mats.
Old-style SIV number plates, brand new (not fitted).
COLLECTION registration document (carte grise) already in my name.
There is a historic error on the registration document, with AZKA written instead of AZ.
Collection by recovery truck at your expense.
Payment by bank transfer or cash.
No time-wasters or dithering buyers, please.
