Description
Hello,
I am selling my 1953 2CV Type A, entirely original (chassis, paintwork, engine, interior) except for:
- front wings (I have the original wings)
- soft-top (I have the original soft-top)
The chassis is in excellent condition.
The paintwork is in good condition with a nice patina; a few minor dings, but nothing serious.
The engine is in good running order, apart from an air leak on the SOLEX ZACI carburettor, which I am currently sorting out.
Work carried out on the engine:
- spark plugs replaced
- air filter replaced
- carburettor gaskets and inlet manifold gasket replaced
- jets cleaned
- electronic ignition (6 volt) fitted; I no longer have the original contact breaker points
- valve clearances adjusted
- fuel tank sender plunger cleaned
I also have in my possession:
- original rear boot
- original jack
- original starting handle
No swaps.
