Description
CITROËN DS19 “ADMINISTRATION” Date of first registration: 18/ 07/ 1963 - 12 CV - BVH. PLEASE READ THE ADVERT CAREFULLY. This is a “BARN FIND” and the mileage is 51, 935 km, confirmed as original given the overall condition of this DS19. It has not been driven for approximately 25 years. The chassis is close to new, the original upholstery is not torn and the foam is still in very good condition and does not visibly need replacing. The bodywork is in very good condition and free of corrosion, as the car has been kept dry throughout all these years. Its original black “AC 200” paint is still very nice. The interior is in blue cloth, with the light grey door cards specific to “Administration” models. Its chrome, bumpers and wheel trims in particular are close to new. The original exhaust is even still in very good condition! The tyres will of course need replacing, but the spare wheel is still “new old stock”! The headliner will need attention. IMPORTANT: The 3-bearing engine is seized (unless I am mistaken) and the front left brake caliper is stuck. The car will need to be recommissioned, with a full oil and filter change, and the hydraulic components and other parts checked or replaced as necessary, along with all other work required and sensible in such a case. This is a rare model and uncommon in this state of preservation, which can be described as “Matching Number”. Registration document (V5C) available. This car cannot be driven away and must be collected on a recovery truck. I am selling this car due to a change of plans and because I have bought another classic vehicle. This DS19 is aimed at a knowledgeable collector or a DS specialist. Price reasonably negotiable, no silly offers or part-exchanges, thank you for your understanding.
