The Appeal
With its expert balancing of classic BMW design cues and a modern, innovative outlook for the upcoming millennium, the E46 3-Series was yet another feather in the cap for the German manufacturer, and ended up becoming a fixture for the Executive car market.
This example, only on its second owner, is in great order - having only covered 34,161 miles from new.

The History and Paperwork
This E46-generation 328 Ci was sold new by BMW Damon Hill in Warwick, which is now Sytner BMW. The car accrued the majority of its mileage in its first 10 years of ownership, after which it was only used for very low mileage on an annual basis for MOT tests due to the owner’s health issues.
The car was then recommissioned and serviced in 2021 and has done relatively few miles and been in storage since. The vendor is selling the car as he doesn't have his own garage space for it. Given cost of storage he feels that the car would benefit from maintaining it's full life under cover, with an enthusiast who can enjoy the car.

- Panel gaps are tight and consistent
- We’ve been unable to discern any dents or dings in the bodywork
- Headlight lenses and glasswork appears clean with no chips or cracks
- BMW branding is all present and correct, in good order
- It rides on the correct set of 17-inch, five-spoke ‘Style 44’ alloy wheels
- Wearing Falken tyres to the front which is brand new, and Continental tyres to the rear
- The Continental tyres are showing some signs of wear
- The underside of the vehicle is largely clean with only age-commensurate wear
- Remarkable condition underneath
- Kept in temperature controlled, secure storage since January 2022 and garaged all if its life
The Mechanics
- Powered by the 2.8L M52TUB28 I6 engine - producing around 190hp
- 5-speed manual transmission
- Engine bay is in very good condition, with the BMW logo proudly on display
- No reports of any leaks, bangs, smoke or knocks from the engine bay
- Valid MOT until May 2024
- The car was recommissioned and has seen sparing use ever since.
