Built to 1961 specification save for the disc brakes, by the world famous Colin Seeley Initially raced by Norman Francis then Bill Bancroft rode the bike under the “Spinning Wheel” banner who spent loads spent to bring the bike up to the standard it is today. Raced in the IOM for 5 years by Colin Richards best results were a 4th and 7th place, with a personal fastest lap of 103 mph. Recorded through the speed trap at 127 mph
The motor is one of the original Taber short stroke engines with twin spark head, no fin damage and rebuilt 5 years ago by Fred Walmsley, unused since.
Highly tuned and producing 48 bhp at the back wheel Nikasil barrel, cosworth piston currently running on Castrol R Fitted with a larger than normal section alloy rear swing arm to overcome torque twist sting problems currently fitted with a Gardner carb for easier starting. 5-speed Quaife gearbox. Ultra reliable and ready to race or parade now. Comes with two complete front wheels, Disc and TLS Drum front brake (currently fitted with the drum brake) Mk 2 Frame number GB 120 and a well-known and respected machine .
