1985 Suzuki SJ 413 Jeep
1985 Suzuki SJ 413. Genuine classic truck with low mileage only 69, 700 miles (Approx) it is still in use. It has a long mot until January 2019. The truck has been looked after and rarely used, this is reflected in the way it drives tight responsive a real pleasure. A new Webber carb conversion has also been recently fitted.
The SJ is in great condition for its age. Previously registered abroad it spent most of its life in the dry and then once in the UK it was kept in a garage, so it doesn’t suffer with the usual rotten floors etc, resulting in a very solid little truck that has never been welded. also has an amazing heater ready for winter.
It has had some surface body work done over the years but only minor and could be finished off nicely if you wanted but I was quite happy to leave it as it is. The SJ has still got its factory bull bar and side steps which have been treated and repainted preventing any further corrosion. The wheels have had a bare metal respray and look amazing they are in excellent eye-catching condition matching the white roof which is nearly new with no rips tares or leaks.
The interior is in very good clean condition with added quirks such as the gravity and pressure dial’s that were optional extras and have been fitted from new. It still has the original back seats and carpet which is rarely seen.
In all this SJ is a great example of a genuine, solid, classic truck.
