Description
A recently home restored Suzuki T250 that is in very good all round condition. A rare and usable little classic bike that starts, rides and brakes well and has been reliable and well cared for during it's life. Also Road Tax and MOT exempt! This bike draws a crowd wherever it goes!
The restoration included a total strip down with the frame, swing arm, battery box, stands and other parts being powder coated. The paintwork was matched to the standard colour of the day and the chrome is in good solid order, but the silencers and mudguards could benefit from rechroming to make perfect. The forks were also stripped, chromed and rebuilt and the wheels were valeted and have the original Takachi rims.
The engine runs fine and there is no evidence that it has been apart in it's life. There are many original Suzuki parts on the bike and the following new parts have been fitted :
Metzeler Tyres and Tubes
Chain & Sprockets
Battery
Cables all round
The engine was run up and checked and runs fine and the rest of the mechanical's such as the Exhaust System, Suspension, Electrics, Brakes, Wheel Bearings, Clutch and Gearbox are all in good working order.
