1979 Honda CX500.
Last MOT’ed on the road in 2011, has sat in a garage since then.
Good chromework on bike, fork stanchions good.
All paintwork appears to be original with the odd mark and touch up and a small dent on the tank as seen in pictures. Still very presentable.
Bike on the button and runs well, carbs set up and balanced a couple of years ago.
Tyres good although sidewalls of front starting to crack due to age.
Aftermarket ‘King and Queen’ style seat and Hagon rear shocks. The silencers are a pattern aftermarket I believe but of good quality. Slightly more boomy than stock but not overly loud. Front mudguard is aftermarket as well but good quality. Original parts unfortunately not with bike and no spares.
Would make a very presentable and usable everyday classic or commuter or a fantastic solid starting point for a full restoration! Bar a front tyre for safety reasons bike is ready for MOT.
